I'm Carol Ann Soisson, and Shepherd's Companion Press is my small Connecticut publishing home — a place where faith-filled stories come to life for young readers and the families who love them. Every book I write is a labor of love, crafted to entertain, inspire, and gently point young hearts toward something greater.

Want to curl up with a good book on a cold winter evening? (Or any evening for that matter.) Snowmallows is a book written for young people ages 8–12, but it can be enjoyed by all ages. We recommend it with a hot cup of cocoa… just beware of the marshmallows!

On August 29, 2021, we traveled from the Michigan-Indiana border through Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and South Dakota. A special stop that day was a beautiful shrine in LaCross, Wisconsin called the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Day 1 of the trip to Yellowstone was August 28, 2021. We drove from Connecticut to the Michigan-Indiana border. It was a Saturday, so we stopped that evening for a Catholic Mass at a church in Ohio called St. Columbkille.

We can probably agree that blogging isn't my strongest subject. The website started over two years ago and there are only a handful of posted blogs. My initial hope was that the "Little Sips of Heaven" blog would be a way to show the presence of God in life.
